On November 6th, students attended the ILMEA (Illinois Music Educators Association) District IX Music Festival. To ensure socially distanced rehearsals and performances, the day was split by ensembles with band, choir and orchestra students all running on separate schedules. The day included hours of rehearsals followed by great concerts. 8th grader, Ava, 7th graders, Eric and Lily, and 6th grader, Gabriel performed in the Band concert. 8th grade Chorus members Anna and Addison sang in the concert. Congratulations to those six talented musicians who represented Kaneland Harter Middle School so honorably at the festival!!
