Graphic Communications Creations

Students in Ms. Nikki Larsen’s Fox Valley Career Center Graphic Communications III class spent the first few weeks of this semester creating graphic artwork that pays homage to the past while pointing to the future of the industry.

Inspired by the artistic graphic work of a former student, Ms. Larsen created an “Art Series” project in which students not only demonstrated their technical skills but also expressed their own creativity in designing and producing 13 original images that represent their personal design style.

High School student Faith, whose work is featured below, used an iPad and tools such as Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to produce her “I Love Lucy” piece.  She listed the specific App that she used next to each piece of artwork in the image.

Ms. Larsen’s KHS Digital Graphics 2 students have been learning how to capture their own creativity using the Adobe Illustrator App. Included here is a compilation of Digital Graphics 2 student work.
