Crayon Project

Students at John Shields Elementary are supporting the organization SCARCE by collecting old or new crayons. This organization makes “super crayons” for kids and individuals with special needs. They keep broken and unused crayons out of landfills and turn them into useful tools for some pretty amazing people. They also collect crayons and make crayon bags for teacher’s classrooms! Once they have been collected they will take the paper off them and sort them into colors for the organization.
