Student of the Year Welding Competition was held at Indian Valley Vocational Center this past week. Around 40 students from Indian Valley Vocational Center, Fox Valley Career Center, Oswego High School, and Weisner Center in participated in the competition.
Students who represented Fox Valley Career Center include: Caden, Patrick, Dylan, Ty, Josh and Seth.
Congratulations to Seth- 3rd place Stick , Ty- 2nd place TIG , and Josh- 2nd place Stick.
Jenna represented Fox Valley Career Center and CTE- Career and Technical Education at the Annual VALEES Building Partnerships for a Better Future conference. Jenna and 5 other students from area schools and career centers were on a panel to share with local CTE teachers, administrators, and business partners why they chose CTE, what they've gotten out of participating in classes, and their hopes for the future.
