Hall of Fame Inductees

Kaneland’s Hall of Fame honors and recognizes alumni, staff members, organizations and supporters who have demonstrated excellence and commitment of service to District 302 communities and have each proven themselves to be an inspiration and role-model to our students. This year, the Hall of Fame Committee is proud induct the following individuals and team:


    • Lee and JoAnn Murdock in the category of Friend of Kaneland, has been a friend to Kaneland for over 20 years. As a performer, Lee Murdock, has given countless workshops for the school district students, teaching the students about storytelling, folk music and the history of the Chicagoland area. JoAnn Murdock has been both Lee’s agent and connection for the Kaneland Arts Initiative. JoAnn has served on the KAI’s planning committee since its inception in 2009. Lee and JoAnn will be inducted as part of Kaneland Arts Initiative Festival on April 10, 2022.
