2022 Fine Arts Festival

THE FESTIVAL RETURNS ON SUNDAY, APRIL 10th!

The Kaneland Arts Initiative (KAI) is THRILLED to welcome all Kaneland students, families, and community to the 22nd Annual Kaneland Community Fine Arts Festival on Sunday, April 10th from 11am - 5pm at Kaneland High School

Showcasing nearly 1,000 pieces of Kaneland student artwork and 12 outstanding professional artists, the Festival is excited to be back IN PERSON after a 2 year intermission.  The day will be full of celebrations including our special opening ceremony at 11am.

The opening ceremonies include the recognition of the Theresa Funke Memorial Fine Arts and Diane McFarlin Artfully Passionate Scholarship winners, the announcement of the KAI summer musical, the recognition of recent Hall of Fame recipients, Pat Hill, Diana Jaskierny, and Maria Dripps-Paulson, and the 2022 induction of Joann and Lee Murdock.  Honoree Lee Murdock will be our featured performer in the Kaneland Auditorium, presenting concerts at 12:30pm and 2:00pm.

KAI would like to thank the Kaneland Art Faculty for their hard work throughout the year to teach, encourage, collect, and display our talented students' art: Kara Berth, Erin Damsich, Suzanne Farr, Carleen Gregg, Colleen Grigg, John Purnell, Laurel Scigouski, and Emily VanDelinder-Birchfield.
See you all on Sunday.
