Graphics Field Trip

Ms. Larsen's Fox Valley Career Graphic Communications students visited the ER2 Image Group in Hanover Park. The CEO & president shared that when he founded the company in 1991 as a two-man shop, he never imagined that one day his family business would take on projects such as the Super Bowl and the Olympics.

Students toured the 35,000 sq. foot facility and were greeted by every employee in each department. Students' favorite activity was hands-on car wrapping.

Several students have started actively seeking internships in the field - some have reached out directly to ER2 - because they now see the importance of gaining experience and learning as much as they can. "They really got a better picture of the types of jobs available to them in the digital graphics field," Larsen said.

ER2 created souvenir badges for each student using large format PVC print and CNC cut. The students loved seeing variable data application of their names used to create the custom badges.
