Kaneland IgKnight Personalized Learning Academy
Opening fall, 2023
Kaneland IgKnight Personalized Learning Academy is a stand-alone Kaneland school, open to students entering grades 4-8 in the 2023-24 school year. The Academy will be housed at our Meredith Road facility. It is intended to serve any student seeking increased ownership over their learning, in a non-traditional school structure. The Academy will be free from the constraints of bell schedules and conventional learning structures. Learning within all required content standards will be designed around the individual strengths, needs, and interests of learners, and instructional methods, pacing, and learning paths will vary from learner to learner.
