Kaneland High School class of 2022 grad Maddy R. won 1st place in the Montgomery Rotary Club's street art contest! The contest's theme was "the conservation and protection of natural resources and the advancement of ecological sustainability by fostering harmony between the Village of Montgomery and the environment." On Monday, August 15th there was a ceremony outside Montgomery's village hall, and she was awarded $300! Her design can be found on River Street, be sure to check it out!
