On Monday, October 17th, newly appointed members of the McDole Safety Patrol met with their advisors and the Montgomery Police Department to complete their Safety Patrol Training. Safety Patrollers are responsible during morning entrance and afternoon dismissal times for helping to keep the hallways safe, greeting staff and students, and ensuring all students get to where they need to be on time.
To join Safety Patrol, students had to complete a written response about how they show positive leadership at school and receive a recommendation from a teacher. After their training, all Safety Patrollers were "Sworn In" by Commander Palko of the Montgomery Police Department as official McDole Safety Patrol Members. Congratulations to our new Safety Patrollers!
