5th graders at Blackberry Creek Elementary had a wonderful two days at Outdoor Ed. On Thursday, students visited Cantigny Park and attended presentations titled Circle of Life and the First in War Tour. They were also able to tour the beautiful fall grounds and view artwork at the Alebrije exhibit which featured dozens of imaginary creatures inspired by Mexican folklore.
On Friday students engaged in team-building activities at school, working together to persevere and problem-solve through six different tasks. Big thanks to the parent volunteers who helped run these activities!
We’re grateful for the two days of learning and exploring that we were able to do together as a class.
