Project KC Food Drive

Montgomery Village Hall offers a small free food pantry on the lower level for families in the community that need food. The Free Little Pantry is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Montgomery. Project KC students at McDole Elementary partnered with the Rotary Club to collect food to help keep the shelves stocked during the holiday season.

Thanks to all of the generous donations from families, Project KC students collected over 800 canned food items and were able to pack 28 boxes for Montgomery Food Pantry. According to Capital Area Food Bank, one box of food feeds a family of four for up to 5 days.

Thanks to KME we were able to feed 28 families in our community this holiday season.
