After learning about endangered and threatened animals in Illinois, students in Mrs. Galvan's 5th grade STEM class were asked to find ways to help. Some made things like bat houses at home, some cleaned up their neighborhoods, some made non-fiction books, and some decided to raise money to help support the cause. These students and others made ornaments and sold them at the Blackberry Creek Jingle Bash in December. What great advocates for the environment! Way to go 5th graders!
