We are excited to be entering the second half of the school year and our second year of our strategic plan, Kaneland Connects. This winter is a great time to remind community of the goals in our plan that help us all build understanding of our 5 commitments to learning.

As we turn the page to the second half of the school year, we wanted to take a moment to share the community goals from Kaneland Connects with all staff. The community goals in the plan directly connect with our progress as staff in further developing our 5 commitment areas. Starting this week, we will begin to have our winter/spring commitment team meetings to check our progress on all the goals of Kaneland Connects.
Community Goals for 2022-23:
-Community can identify benefits of co-teaching and MTSS
-Community can identify the wrap around services available
-Community can identify confidential and safe ways to communicate their needs to the school district
-Community can identify feedback in learning for their child
-Community can identify reported standards per content area for completed proficiency tables
-Community attends opportunities to discuss the shifts in learning practices
-Community can identify the purpose and process of standards based grading
