The Kaneland High School Chess Team enjoyed a highly successful season. They amassed a record of 27-8-1, finishing 2nd in conference. The highlight of the season was defeating rival Sterling to secure a IHSA Sectional Championship. The Knights then earned 5 wins out of 7 at the State Finals earning a 5th place finish in the 3A section.
