On Saturday, March 11th Visual Art students Victoria R., Veronica R., Avery A., Adam W., Anjali K., Abby F., Kaci R., Emily B., Lillie B., and Brooklynn M., Sara T., and Maria O. competed in the Interstate 8 Conference Art Show, hosted by Morris Community High School.
Their artwork was judged by current and retired secondary and post-secondary Art Instructors. During judging, students attended workshops on self-portrait wire sculptures, superhero comics, still life and watercolor painting, pinch pot message monsters, and shrinky dink pins.
KHS brought home four individual ribbons, and placed 4th in the I-8 Conference as a team!

Senior, Victoria R. placed 2nd for Mixed Media.
Senior, Avery A. placed 3rd for watercolor and tempera painting.
Junior, Kaci R. placed 3rd for Commercial Graphic Design.
