Mr. Kaneland took place at Kaneland High School on Friday, March 10. Mr. Kaneland is an annual competition at the high school that raises money for the Kaneland Cares foundation to support Kaneland families in need.
This year, the contestants, Andres A., Seth C., Finn G., Mikey H., Nick J., and Matt M., combined to raise over $3,500!! We want to thank everyone who donated to support our contestants by purchasing tickets, making donations, bidding, and especially those who donated during our Miracle Minute!! Our Miracle Minute is where the student escorts go through the audience and collect cash donations on the spot - and we raised over $700 in our Miracle Minute this year!
Congratulations to our 2023 Mr. Kaneland, Nick J., who raised over $1200 alone!
We also want to thank Lindsay Y. and Maddie S. who directed this year's show; Brooklyn B. and Megan F. who choreographed two dances for the contestants to participate in; David Rohlman, Stephanie Douglas, and the rest of the KHS administration, faculty and staff for their support - we could not have done it without any of their help!
