Blackberry Creek Elementary welcomed Dusti Bowling to talk about her work as an author. Our younger readers learned about Life in the Desert, and our middle grade readers learned how ideas go from a Spark to a Story.
Later on, our 4th and 5th grade students also attended a writing workshop about the Importance of a Story Goal. We had an incredible day, and we are grateful to our PTO for sponsoring this event!
