The Kaneland Art Initiative (KAI) opens its performance season THIS Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ... A KAI Cabaret. If you've never been to a cabaret before, it is a specifically-themed concert with solo songs and large and small ensembles. The theme for the first cabaret is a show full of songs we LOVED and songs we'd LOVE to do. The cast is full of actors who have been on our stage from within Kaneland and the community!
Tickets are $20 each and the performances are in the Kaneland High School Black Box Theatre, which you can access through the Door 32. The shows are at 7pm on Friday, November 10, 7pm on Saturday, November 11, and 2pm on Sunday, November 12. Included in your ticket is a delicious coffee cake dessert with tea, coffee, or water. Seating is very limited, so purchasing tickets in advance is important. Go to the KAI website, www.artskai.org, for tickets.
The delicious coffee cake served at the cabaret is from Dave's Coffee Cakes. KAI will be selling Dave's Coffee Cakes as a fundraiser beginning November 9th. Go to the KAI website, www.artskai.org, to purchase your coffee cake today! The cakes are $22 each and do not need to be cooked. They are perfect to be cut into pieces and given to teachers as Holiday gifts or to be served for holiday breakfast or dessert. If you have questions about the cabaret or the coffee cakes, please contact kai@kaneland.org or visit www.artskai.org.
