Preschool Screening
For Kaneland District Students who may qualify for Special Education Services.
Applications will open online February 23, 2024 and are due March 15, 2024.
Screenings are held by appointment only, four times a year on a Friday at Blackberry Creek Elementary School in Elburn, IL. The screening dates for the 2023-2024 school year are:
September 8, 2023
November 10, 2023
January 19, 2024
March 15, 2024
Children ages three years and older that are suspected of having delays in developmental milestones are encouraged to attend. The milestones that will be checked include speech, hearing, vision, and motor skills. Testing is also available for children younger than three years old. Call the number below for details.

All families are required to provide proof of residency and a valid Driver's License or legal form of identification at the time of screening.
This is not a kindergarten screening.
