The WOW board for the Technology Exploratory at John Shields filled up this week with 177 names of students from Kindergarten to Fifth grade who made Mrs. Payton exclaim, “Wow”! These tasks include persevering through a challenging task, helping a classmate, thinking of a creative idea, following Champs expectations and many other spectacular moments.
Once the board was filled with names, Mrs. Payton picked random winners by choosing a letter and number and seeing which name was on that square. The winners gathered in the computer lab to pick a prize. There were fun fidgets, coloring books, stickers, crafts and other items to choose from for their prize. Every student who earned a square on the board should be proud.
The best part is the board is cleared and we are looking for more WOW moments in the computer lab!
