Workers from WS Darley & Company stopped by last week with a donation for the Fox Valley Career Center Fire Science program.
Darley Company donated a VR FLAIM trainer to the Fire Science program.
The VR trainer includes the components of a inform plus a heat vest so students can experience the heat of a fire the closer they get to the virtual fire.
There are 12,000 scenarios so students will experience a wide range of fires they might face when they join a department.
Additionally, Darley donated a VR fire extinguisher trainer. This makes it easier to schedule training sessions and will help us reach more people to train them to use a Fire extinguisher safely.
