Preschool Screening for 2024-2025 School Year

PRESCHOOL SCREENING
FOR KANELAND DISTRICT STUDENTS WHO MAY QUALIFY FOR SPECIAL
EDUCATION SERVICES

Screenings are held by appointment only, four times a year on a Friday at Blackberry Creek Elementary School in Elburn, IL.  The screening dates for the 2024-2025 school year are:
September 13, 2024
November 15, 2024
January 24, 2025
March 21, 2025

Children ages three years and older that are suspected of having delays in developmental milestones are encouraged to attend.  The milestones that will be checked include speech, hearing, vision, and motor skills.  Testing is also available for children younger than three years old. All families are required to provide proof of residency and a valid Driver’s License or legal form of identification at the time of screening.  

This is not a kindergarten screening.
