Kaneland Pathways

As our mission, Kaneland CUSD 302 is committed to graduating students who will be successful in college, their career, and within their community. To ensure that this goal is attained, we focus our effort on offering a variety of pathways so that students can have a well rounded learning experience that prepares them for future success based on their interests and needs.

This school year, Kaneland High School is focused on providing students with guidance for personalized pathways based on their interest and available learning opportunities. Throughout the school year, students will receive interest surveys as well as lessons in homeroom to enhance their understanding of options for them after high school. They will then work with their school counselors to help design schedules to meet their unique interests and needs for their future roles outside of school.

In measuring our success, Kaneland High School administration will be monitoring the success of our freshmen as they transition into high school, the number of students enrolled in career and/or technical classes, as well as advanced placement or dual credit courses as these learning experiences have been shown to have a significant impact on students success during and after high school.
