Earlier this month, students from the Graphic Communications program attended a Graphics Bootcamp. The experience simulates an interview where students are placed in groups with students from our region that they do not know, are given a prompt, and then have 3 hours to create the product in the prompt. This year, students were tasked with creating a brand for a food truck of their choice. They had to create the logo, a hand-held menu, and the exterior of the food truck. Mentors from the industry were on hand to give students critical feedback as well as teach them new tricks of the trade. Essential Employability Skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are just a couple that students demonstrate during the competition.
