Students at McDole Elementary School held its second “Book & Jammies Night” of the school year with a virtual visit with acclaimed children’s author and illustrator, Caralyn and Mark Buehner. This husband-wife team are the author/illustrator of several children’s books, including the popular series, Snowmen at Night. Students were invited to “draw along” with Mark Buehner, learning how to draw several of the main characters from the book including the snowman. A book raffle took place the next day where copies of Snowmen at Night were distributed to students of all grade levels.
