To celebrate National Heart Health Month in February, Project KC students at McDole Elementary welcomed Janelle McCornack, an EMT Instructor and Biomedical Science Teacher at Fox Valley Career Center, along with her EMT students and the Sugar Grove Fire Department. They led an engaging, hands-on session where students practiced CPR and first aid using training manikins. This hands-on experience introduced students to important lifesaving skills while reinforcing the significance of heart health and emergency preparedness.
